DUBPLATE: featuring ROAM
32Bar Productions & Red-i Sounds Proudly Presents DUBPLATE: OBEY Edition: w/ "ROAM ELSEWHERE" Warehouse Party Style!
Featuring: Don8, Caliph8, Mulan, Soulflower, Red-i and special guest ROAM!
Roam is an Orange County based DJ/Musician that's been making noise in Southern California for several years now. He was brought up playing trumpet and guitar for array of garage bands, and eventually ended up DJing in grade school. He drew his inspirations from street art, music, mind-altering drugs, and most importantly, his love for white women. Roam is also the sound engineer @ OBEY Records & a Co-Founder of FromElsewhere, an OC/LA based creative team with different backgrounds. He also runs the international marketing/ special projects division for OBEY Clothing.
In 2007, Roam teamed up with Urth (Free The Robots) to released a mix titled "From City To City" on OBEY Records. The mix was created to reflect OBEY on more of a musical aspect with all influences taking cues from hip-hop, punk, disco, rock, downtempo, uptempo, jazz, etc. Different from all the other “mash-up/re-edit” mixtapes out, its eclectic blends are more organic, keeping that authenticity of each timeless track.
Lately he's been working on the Free The Robots post production that's due to release on March 2010.

Blackout Fridays @ Club LAX
Club LAX presents Blackout Fridays, featuring DJ C-Bu, Australia's top Hip Hop DJ, along with DJ STEAL, DJ X-FACTOR, and MC NATHAN J
In a short amount of time, DJ C-Bu has climbed the ranks of the Sydney club scene like no other DJ before him. From his humble beginnings in the back room of UN Nightclub in late 2005 to playing main sets in front of hundreds of clubbers at some of Sydney's hottest clubs on a weekly basis, he is without a doubt one of Sydney's hottest commodities amongst promoters and one of the most in-demand among clubbers.
Always one to break in brand new tracks before other DJs and being a "teacher" for the crowd, C-Bu prides himself with always being able to read the crowd and knowing what to play next. Arriving with a new trick up his sleeve each time he steps up, no C-Bu set sounds like another, bringing in new ways of mixing tracks and thinking outside the box, it's a guarantee that C-Bu will have the club rocking whether it is 10pm or 4am. This ability has grabbed the attention of every single guy and girl that has heard him play, either it be while dancing on packed dancefloors or chilling at the bar. This reputation he has built has seen him take his skills out of Sydney to the hottest clubs in Melbourne, Gold Coast, and even overseas to Indonesia.
From producing his own remixes and sampling rock and electro tracks, to the art of turntablism and clubtablism, to an eclectic taste of music in his crate, C-Bu brings it all to the wheels of steel every single night on his own or with partners in crime DJ Kai, MC D and MC Deekay, while also backing up upcoming urban music record label Nufirm Records, headed by Australian R&B sensation Israel, and acts as Nufirm's official tour and concert DJ, and is responsible for all of Nufirm's releases, distributed throughout Australiasia.

Kaya Green Band at House of Runes
Kaya GB will be playing for drum beats and for Mother Earth
This will also be an open mic event so bring you favorite poetry to read along our music.
Music shows us how to maintain pleasure and ecstasy. Normally we tend to think of a moment of euphoric realization as unbearable and impossible to continue. It slips away and then we pursue it again. But if we take the example of music, letting go of one note to hear the next, then our pleasure can be constant though the vibrations change. - Thaddeus Golas
House of Runes is located at West Avenue, Quezon City. This party will kick off on February 3, 2010, 9PM.

Tribomanila T-Shirt Launch @ Alchemy
Tribomanila is one of the pioneer bands who combine electronic dance music with percussive beats and an instrumental band. Sometimes it's a bit of Latin house, or a bit of electro, or a bit of tribal beats. Once upon a time, they've had a trumpet player, sometimes a saxophone player, and sometimes a classical guitarist. The result is a very dance-able sound that has that perfect blend of a deejay and a band. It's just one of those things you'll have to experience for yourself to really get to know.
In any case, Tribomanila will be launching their T-shirt on January 29, 2010, at Alchemy. Guests will get the chance to win 2 tickets to party with Tribomanila in the world famous Boracay beach.
